Féile Vegan 2025
The Vegan Society of Ireland is proud to support Féile Vegan — Ireland’s first-ever outdoor festival celebrating vegan living — taking place the weekend of 15–17 August at Lisnavagh House and Gardens in Rathvilly, Co. Carlow.
While the VSI is not the organiser of the event, Féile Vegan was born from an idea that originated within the Society in late 2024. A call was made for volunteers to help bring the idea to life, and shortly thereafter an independent committee was established.
Féile Vegan is made up of people from diverse backgrounds and several different groups, united by a shared goal — to help animals by promoting veganism and bringing together those who respect and celebrate all life.
The desire to create a festival that is both sustainable and educational, while also celebrating vegan culture in Ireland, led to the birth of Féile Vegan. This event showcases independent makers and creators of vegan food, produce and products — all built on a foundation of genuine sustainability, vibrant art and fantastic music.
Festivalgoers can expect an exciting mix of live music (see image below for the full DJ and performer lineup), delicious vegan food, inspiring speakers, cooking demonstrations, wellness sessions and a strong sense of community. Additional acts and events will be announced closer to the festival date.
Whether you’re a lifelong vegan or simply curious about cruelty-free living, everyone is welcome. Animal charities will also be present, offering the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations.
This is a family- and pet-friendly event, with activities for all ages. Children under 12 can attend for free.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all to meet up and socialise in the beautiful surroundings of Lisnavagh House and Gardens — the perfect setting for camping, glamping or cottage-style accommodation.
