There is now a huge range of vegan food in supermarkets and shops. Many products carry the vegan trademark.
There are also thousands of restaurants, hotels, cafes and takeaways all over Ireland which have vegan menus and vegan options.
Vegan Products: Shoes, Clothing, Toiletries, Cleaning Products
When buying items like cosmetics, toiletries and cleaning products it is important that the product is not tested on animals and does not contain any animal derived ingredients.
When buying shoes, look for those that do not contain leather. Many shops sell non-leather shoes and good quality vegan shoes can be bought online if you can’t find them locally.
When buying clothing, make sure there is no wool, leather or silk on the label.
When buying bedding such as duvets and pillows, ensure they do not contain down.
